01 NCAC 03B .0102. RESPONSIBILITIES

(a) The grounds section is responsible for the maintenance and beautification of grounds that surround state‑owned buildings.

(b) The activities of the grounds department are directed toward both long and short range plans to present to the public an exterior environment which is functional, attractive, and in good taste.
