The county board of elections may adopt "Plan A" provided the county board resolves to operate its office at the seat of government in a location agreed upon by the county board of elections and the board of county commissioners. Under this plan, the executive secretary, appointed by the county board of elections, shall be in attendance to the prescribed duties between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (or the same hours observed by other county offices) on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week. Legal holidays, observed by other county offices, and falling on one of the above prescribed days may be observed at the discretion of the county board of elections.
