10A NCAC 01D .0103. VOLUNTEER ELIGIBILITY

(a) Any citizen in North Carolina may apply to be a volunteer in any division, institution, or county agency of the department. Applicants shall be screened and placed according to their interests and the needs of the division, institution, or county agency.

(b) A volunteer may be requested by the local program coordinator to terminate his work with the division, institution, or county agency if his work is, in the coordinator's opinion, detrimental to the program.
