10A NCAC 27H .0103. APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION

A parent, guardian, or person standing in loco parentis shall sign the application for admission of a minor to the residential treatment facility. A guardian shall sign the application for admission of a person adjudicated incompetent. In an emergency situation, a minor may be admitted to a treatment facility upon his own written application in accordance with G.S. 122C‑221, if such admission is otherwise considered appropriate.
