10A NCAC 43C .0103. ADVISORY BODIES

(a) The perinatal program shall consult with the Statewide Perinatal Advisory Council and the Regional Perinatal Committees in planning, organizing, administering and evaluating the program.
(b) A regional perinatal committee shall be established for each perinatal region of North Carolina. Regional committee members shall be selected by a process addressed in each regional committee's by‑laws. Composition of each regional committee shall include representation from the following: obstetrics, pediatrics, family practice, public health, nursing, social services, nutritional services, hospital administration and consumers. The purpose of the regional perinatal committees shall be to advise the Division and the Statewide Perinatal Advisory Council in planning, organizing, administering and evaluating the aspects of the perinatal program implemented within the region.
