10A NCAC 43C .0501. GENERAL

(a) The perinatal program provides funds for various special projects of significance to the perinatal program. Such projects may include, but are not limited to:
(1) Programs to provide specialized health care evaluation, intervention and follow‑up services to the graduates of neonatal intensive care units.
(2) Programs which have implication for service delivery and which provide pertinent outcome and evaluation information to the perinatal program.
(b) The initiation and renewal of such contracts is subject to the availability of funds. If any proposed program has statewide significance, the Statewide Perinatal Advisory Council shall review the proposal and make recommendations to the perinatal program regarding the acceptance of any proposals. If any proposed program has a local or regional significance, the respective regional Perinatal committee shall review the proposal and make recommendations to the perinatal program. The program shall review the application along with recommendations.
