10A NCAC 46 .0101. GENERAL AID‑TO‑COUNTY FUND

(a) All local health departments are eligible to receive general aid‑to‑county funds from the Department. These funds shall be allocated using the allocation of the funds for fiscal year 1983/1984 as a base. Any new general aid‑to‑county funds (in excess of the amount allocated for fiscal year 1983/1984) shall be allocated based on population and utilization of allocated funds.
(b) General aid‑to‑county funds shall be used for support of public health programs. In order to receive the funds, the consolidated contract between the Department and the local board of health must be negotiated and signed annually.
