10A NCAC 70N .0102. ELEMENTS OF SERVICE

(a) When residential care is provided as an element of delinquency prevention services, homes and facilities used for such care must meet applicable licensure standards adopted by the Social Services Commission.
(b) Agencies providing delinquency prevention services must adhere to the provisions and procedures of the Interstate Compact on Juveniles set forth in G.S. 7A‑684 through 7A‑711.
(c) For each child, the agency must develop and document a plan for services. The services plan must be based on an assessment of the child and his family. At least once a month, the plan is to be reviewed jointly by agency staff, the child, and the child's parent or other caretaker. The agency shall maintain basic information on each child served in a case file. The case file must contain at least the following information:
(1) the goal of the services,
(2) the service plan,
(3) the date of each service contact,
(4) the progress made by the child, and
(5) the circumstances of the termination of services and whether the goals identified in the service plan were achieved.
