10A NCAC 71P .0902. UNITED STATES CITIZENSHIP

Latest version.

(a) Eligibility Requirement. An applicant or recipient must be:

(1) A citizen of the United States; or

(2) An alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien residing in the United States under color of law.

(b) Verification. The worker shall accept the applicant's statement unless there is some reason to doubt it. If there is doubt, documentary evidence shall be required.
