10A NCAC 89C .0108. HANDICAPPED DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS: PARKING PRIVILEGES

Latest version.

(a) The Division is responsible for determining and for certifying that an organization regularly transports handicapped or visually impaired persons. Such certification is necessary for the organization to receive a distinguishing placard from the Department of Transportation allowing them to park in spaces designated as handicapped parking.

(b) This determination and certification shall be carried out by the unit managers located in each of the Division's unit offices.

(c) Certification shall be provided to the Department of Transportation on Form MVR‑37A.
