12 NCAC 01 .0206. RECRUITMENT AND HIRING

(a) The Department of Justice provides within its affirmative action plan provisions for the notification of numerous educational institution placement officers and other job placement facility officers of vacancies within the Department. In addition, the Department is prepared to take any step it deems necessary to properly recruit minority persons, handicapped persons, and women. All persons seeking employment within the Department of Justice must file a State Employment Application, as provided by the State Personnel Commission, and meet the necessary minimum requirements for the position for which application is made.
(b) Those applicants deemed qualified will be interviewed by appropriate staff supervisors within the Department of Justice.
