The Attorney General represents the state in all legal actions in which the state is a party or is interested; represents and advises all state departments, agencies, institutions, commissions, bureaus and other organized activities of the state receiving state financial support; and represents the interests of the using and consuming public of North Carolina in all matters deemed to be in the best interests of the public.
