13 NCAC 10 .0513. RULES OF EVIDENCE

Hearings before the board or its hearing examiner shall insofar as practicable be governed by the rules of evidence applicable in the state courts. Provided, however, that the board or hearing examiner may exercise the right at all times to receive and give due regard to hearsay evidence if the interests of justice do require.
