15A NCAC 14A .0410. OFFICIAL RECORD

(a)  The official record of a proceeding under this Chapter shall be available at a place designated by the Board for public inspection upon reasonable request.

(b)  The proceedings will be recorded.  Copies of recorded tapes shall be available at cost from the Board.  Except as provided in G.S. 104E‑6.2(e), transcripts of proceedings during which oral evidence is presented will be made only upon written request of any person.  The requesting person shall pay the cost of such transcript or copy thereof that the person orders and this cost shall include the cost of an original for the Board.  Cost shall be determined under supervision of the Board which, in cases deemed appropriate by it, may require an advance security deposit to cover the prospective cost.  The security deposit shall be applied to the actual cost and any excess shall be returned to the person who submitted it.
