20 NCAC 02N .0212. MONTHLY PAYMENTS

(a) Except as provided in Paragraph (b) of this Rule, members shall not send the monthly payments required by G.S. 58‑86‑35 or 58‑86‑40 to the office of the director. Each fire department and each rescue squad shall remit the total of its members' monthly payments to the office of the director under one check accompanied by a list showing the amount paid by or on behalf of each individual member.
(b) Fire departments or rescue squads with five or fewer pension fund members may require their members to remit monthly payments directly to the office of the director.
(c) Members may pay their monthly payments as far in advance as they desire.
